This is a pair of original German WWII motorcycle rider (Kradrider) cotton canvas chap leggings in fieldgray, as used by Heer and Waffen-SS troops. These chaps show light to moderate wear consistent with age and use. Some of the leather components exhibit stiffness, though most remain supple.
The chaps feature an elasticized thigh band with a buckle for size adjustment—note that the buckles show some surface rust. All buttons are present, though one appears to be a period replacement. There are no rips or tears. The design includes webbing straps to secure the chaps under the boot and leather reinforcement at the heels to protect against abrasion.
No visible manufacturer markings were found. Overall, this is a well-preserved example of Kradtruppen gear and would make an excellent addition to any WWII German motorcycle or field gear collection.
