Original German WWII S/185G (Elite Diamant) k98 Matching Bayonet With Web Frog RB Numbered-

This is an exceptional example of an original WWII German K98 bayonet, manufactured by Elite Diamant (code: S/185G). The bayonet comes complete with its matching-numbered scabbard and a tropical web frog, making it a highly collectible and well-preserved set.
  • Blade: Retains approximately 99% of its original factory bluing, with crisp “S/185G” markings on one side and the matching serial number 5334 b stamped on the reverse. The blade is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of age or handling.
  • Grips: The original wooden grips are in superb condition—free from cracks, chips, or major wear. The pommel features sharp double Waffenamt (WaA) acceptance stamps, further underscoring its authenticity.
  • Locking Mechanism: The locking button is fully functional, operating smoothly to lock and release without issue.
  • Scabbard: Stamped with serial number 5334 b, perfectly matching the blade. Also marked “S/185G” on the reverse. The finish is excellent, showing only a light patina and a few minor dents consistent with age—no major flaws.
  • Frog: Includes a two-tone tropical web frog, faintly RB-numbered on the reverse. The webbing remains strong, though there are a few loose threads near the hole for the scabbard stud on the handle strap. Still, it is a well-preserved and desirable wartime example, complementing the bayonet and scabbard beautifully.
This matching-numbered Elite Diamant set exemplifies the craftsmanship of wartime German military production and would make a top-tier addition to any WWII edged weapon or K98 collection.
