This is an original double-sided Third Reich flag/banner featuring a tunnel at one end, intended for mounting on a pole or for suspension with a rope. The body of the banner is constructed from two red cotton panels joined by a vertical center seam.
On both sides, white circles are machine-sewn to the red field, each bearing a two-piece black swastika that has been separately stitched onto the white roundels. The and red field show some fading consistent with age and period use. Scattered staining is visible throughout, adding to its authenticity and indicating real-world display or storage.
The cotton fabric has become somewhat fragile over time and exhibits some small holes and tears in various areas. Despite these signs of wear, the banner remains in good condition overall for its age.
It measures approximately 78" x 29.5" (198 cm x 75 cm).
