This is an outstanding example of a mid to late war Waffen SS Oakleaf A Zeltbahn, featuring the reversible spring/summer and fall/winter camouflage patterns. The colors remain vibrant yet appropriately subdued, characteristic of mid-war production tones.
All original grommets—both large and small—are present and intact. The Zeltbahn also retains one original rope tie-down. Most of the original dish-style buttons remain securely attached, with only a very few are missing.
A unique feature of this piece is the neck flap construction, which incorporates a mix of Oakleaf A and B camouflage patterns on both sides. Additional Oakleaf A material is visible along the edge of the fall side.
There are no holes in the body of the Zeltbahn; however, there is one small hole in the neck flap.
Overall, this is a solid, honest example in excellent condition—an ideal representative piece for any serious collector of Waffen SS camouflage or WWII field gear.
