Original Weimar Republic Era Reichswehr Buckle-
A pre-Third Reich belt buckle, constructed from silvered bronze. The obverse features a raised Heer-style German national eagle, encircled by a ribbed ring or rope bearing the inscription “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and laurel branches. The reverse is equipped with a functional roller with attachment prongs, along with a catch. It is unmarked. A fine example of a buckle worn by both Reichswehr and early Wehrmacht Heer personnel, preserved in excellent condition.
