This is an original German WWII M40 helmet shell, size ET62, refurbished and repainted in a post-war applied three-tone camouflage scheme. The camouflage features tan/yellow, light green, and brown colors in a blotched pattern, with realistic artificial aging and scattered scrapes across the surface for an authentic field-worn appearance.
The helmet is fitted with correctly styled Waffen SS runic and Party decals, both aged to match the overall look. Inside, it has an aged reproduction leather liner size 54 and chinstrap.
A striking piece, ideal for a Waffen SS impression or as a display helmet in any WWII collection.
