being sold on the market as originals. Most are slightly antiqued to appear old.
They are 3 piece construction. Two piece outer Silver with Iron middle.
The only difference from the originals (We compared these to original samples
that we have) is that the year 1939 is thicker/wider and the silver is blued.

Close Combat Clasp In Silver- These
are one of the finest metal Close Combat Claps made! They are made in Europe
from original dies and are being sold on the market as originals. Most are
antiqued to appear old. They
are silver with what appears to be an oak leaf square with oak leaves protruding
out to form the clasp. Inside the
oak leaf square is a stick grenade and a k98 bayonet crossing over each other
and an eagle holding a swastika at the top.
The clasp does have a very slight bend like to originals.
They have maker mark of “FEC.WE.PEEKHAUS BERLIN”.
All of the badges come with a pin on the back with slight rust.
