Original German WWII Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery EM/NCO M40 Overseas Cap Size 58- A nice example of a well-used Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery EM/NCO’s overseas cap. It is made of fine quality field gray wool, but has been well worn down. It has a fold-down panels featuring gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and sides. On the front of the cap is a textbook Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery handsewn BeVo eagle on dark green back ground, but is damaged. Directly beneath the eagle is a machine sewn BeVo tri-color cockade with dark green background. The cap did have a soutache on the front, but is missing. The cap is lined with a tan cotton and manufactured marked in black ink with faint year or size marking? Good condition.
