Original German WWII Heer M35 Single Decal Reissued Helmet Ex-Double Decal- It is a NS60 M35 helmet. The helmet repainted during the war on the outside with dark Feldgrau textured paint using a paint brush. It has a early Heer army eagle decal on the left side, which is about 70% present and hand brushed around it. The decal appears to have some cracking and some paint over it. There is an outline of the Tri-Color shield, which was painted over and over time it has been chipping. It still retains the factory apple green paint on the inside and is batch marked on the rear of the inside skirt ‘?80’. The out liner band is dated 1937 and is a non-reinforced size 60/53. Leather liner is missing as well as a chinstrap. A good project helmet to restore. Combat used, but in very good condition.
