Original German WWII Early War "Hidden Thread" Leather Combat Y-Straps- A very hard to find early war Y-Straps with the auxiliary straps leather cover thread hidden from the outside. The manufacturer would slice the side of the shoulder strap and thread through there and glue it shut. Very time consuming. They did away with hiding the thread soon after until the end of the war. We could not find any manufacturing markings. A mixture of aluminum & steel hardware and would most likely put this pair of Y-Straps around 1940? The leather is in excellent condition considering it's age. Excellent condition!
