Original German WWII Pressed Wood Canteen Without Cup- A nice pressed wood canteen.
  • The press wood canteen flask is maker marked HRE dated 42.
  • The web straps are second pattern. The clip on the web strap is dated 41. The webbing that holds the clip is gone. It looks like it could be repaired.
  • The leather strap around the neck that helps to hold the web straps onto the canteen is broken and extremely dry.
  • The cap still retains the rubber grommet.
  • The canteen is fully intact, shows some age. Very good condition.
