Original German WWII Single Decal M40 Heer (Army) Helmet NS62- A nice combat worn single decal Heer helmet and a nice size shell. It is a size 62 shell with a good amount of the original factory paint. The Heer decal is about 90%- 95% and has some wear and age to it. The liner also has some wear and age, is a size 54 or 55 and the metal band is dated 1940. Factory applied "Dome Stamp" can be seen. The chinstrap is broken on the long piece and a small piece with aluminum rivet is still there. Th small part of the chinstrap is complete with early war aluminum buckle.
