Original German WWII State Service Armband- An original yellow State Service armband in near excellent condition. It’s Bevo, machine woven construction, as most of these were. The body of the armband is made from yellow cotton color. A large and German national eagle and swastika is woven in black thread on the front. The upper and lower edges show the expected woven edging in yellow thread. The short edges on the reverse have been factory machine sewn together with yellow thread. Inside, the eagle and swastika emblem is visible in reverse, a characteristic result of the machine weaving process used to make these. There is no damage to the fabric or to the woven design. This State Service armband does shows some staining and age. Overall, it’s a great representative example of this popular armband style. The condition of this Yellow State Service Armband is in very good condition.
