Original Imperial German WWI M1917 Gasmask With Filter And Canister- The gasmask is the M1917 model, is mostly complete and the leather is in excellent condition considering it's age. The straps are all there, but the small rope/string is missing. The filter is in excellent condition and is dated "31. Juni 18." The metal canister does have the majority of the outside gray green factory paint with some minor surface rust and scratches. The lid snap closes without a hinge and the inside wires on the lid have been cut, but have been nicely done. All canister straps are missing. Does have a pair of spare lenses at the bottom of the canister. Very Good to Excellent condition for an item that is over 100 years old.
