Original German WWII Camouflaged M42 Single Decal Luftwaffe ET62- Presenting a remarkable find from World War II, this M42 Single Decal Luftwaffe ET64 helmet is a testament to its history. Initially adorned in the characteristic factory Luftwaffe blue, it was later painted with a subdued camouflage green, which is still covering approximately 75% of its surface. The wear reveals glimpses of its original Luftwaffe blue. Although the 2nd pattern Luftwaffe decal has significantly faded, a faint “ghost” silhouette of the eagle remains. The original leather liner, remarkably intact with an original drawstring, speaks of the helmet's journey through time, while the original chinstrap, though showing signs of wear with the tip missing, remains attached. Bearing the marks of combat, this German WWII helmet stands as a tangible piece of history—an affordable yet invaluable artifact from the tumultuous era of World War II. In very good to excellent condition.
