Original Waffen SS EM/NCO Belt Buckle Marked RZM 155/40 SS By Assmann Type II- Offered is an authentic Waffen SS EM/NCO Belt Buckle, meticulously crafted and marked RZM 155/40 SS, emblematic of the esteemed manufacturer Assmann & Söhne of Lüdenscheid. This Type II buckle showcases a central motif of exceptional detail: an SS-style national eagle, its wings gracefully outspread, clutching a laurel wreath encircling a static swastika. The emblem is encased within a circular border, simulating twisted rope, adorned with the Gothic script motto, "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!" (My Honor is Loyalty!).

This buckle represents the second type, distinguished by the relocation of the RZM marking from the front to beneath the prongs, a feature highly coveted by collectors.
