Original Waffen SS Officer's Aluminum Belt Buckle By Overhoff & Cie- Offered is a remarkable pre/early war production Waffen SS Officer's belt buckle, crafted by the renowned manufacturer Overhoff & Cie, a key player in SS buckle production throughout the Third Reich era. This buckle boasts a flawless exterior with a high-relief, embossed central motif featuring an SS-style national eagle with outstretched rounded wings, grasping a wreath adorned with a static swastika. Gothic script motto, "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!" (My Honor is Loyalty!), is set into a rounded type of banner against a textured background field.

The buckle is a ground dug, but the details of this buckle are still sharp and well defined condition. The catch hook on the back does have some damage from years of being underground, but still is strong. On the back it is marked with OLC in a diamond for Overhoff & Cie of Ludenscheid and marked 36/39 for contract number and year. Also the RZM and SS Runes marking. Comes with a officer's catch, but is not original to this buckle.
