#65 Original Waffen SS Oakleaf A Type II Helmet Cover - This is a beautiful Un-Issued Waffen SS Helmet Cover. All panels are made up of Oakleaf A camouflage material and two panels (1 side and the middle) appear to be the same print run and the other side panel is different from others. The colors both on the Spring & Fall sides are nice and vibrant! Foliage loops on spring and fall sides are a mixture of Oakleaf A & B. One loop on the fall side was missed and not sewn down at the factory during the war. Rocker Clips are the steel type, with aluminum rivets, which have some slight surface rust from storage. Fall side has Planetree ½ camouflage material covering the springs. Fits 64 or 62 shells. The SS Helmet Cover was photographed on a M40 Size 64 Shell.
