This is an original German WWII Luftwaffe 2nd pattern visor cap eagle, constructed of zinc.
The zinc finish shows natural age and minor wear consistent with period use, while still retaining sharp detail throughout the wings and body. No visible maker markings are present, which is common for many examples of these early cap insignia. Both attachment prongs are missing and it appears a pin was attached post war in place of the prongs.
Overall, this example remains in decent condition. Sold as is.
