Original German WWII Kriegsmarine Parts Dagger E&F Höster-

This is an original 2nd Model Kriegsmarine Officer’s Dagger composed of authentic wartime components, likely assembled postwar. The blade is a beautiful example by E&F Hörster of Solingen, double-etched with classic naval motifs and in excellent condition, complete with its original leather buffer pad. The reverse ricasso bears the E&F Hörster trademark.

The lightning bolt-pattern scabbard is an original Carl Eickhorn example, brass-based with a pleasing aged patina. It features a very minor dent on the front but remains structurally solid. Both throat screws are intact and undisturbed, and the push-button mechanism functions properly, securely attaching the scabbard to the hilt.

The brass-based crossguard is by E&F Hörster and features crisp fouled anchor designs. The pommel, produced by WKC, displays the iconic Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a swastika—standard for naval daggers of this model.

The grip is an ivory-colored plastic type, tightly wrapped in double-twisted brass wire, showing light age and handling.

This is a solid example of a Kriegsmarine dagger built entirely from genuine WWII-era parts. While likely assembled postwar, it retains all the visual and collectible qualities of an original piece. A great entry-level dagger for collectors—original grips alone are currently valued between $200 and $300.
