Original German WWII Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Helmet EF or ET 60 This is an original German WWII Luftwaffe M40 single decal helmet marked either EF or ET 60.
EXTERIOR Shell: The exterior retains its original factory-applied blue Luftwaffe finish. The surface shows a bit of wear and scattered areas of minor surface rust patina consistent with long-term storage and service use. The paint remains largely intact with natural aging throughout. The M40 model is identified by its stamped ventilation holes and rolled edge. The shell size is 60. Decal: The single Luftwaffe eagle decal is still present on the left side and remains clearly visible, showing expected wear and light flaking from age. Unfortunately there is damage to one of the wings, see photo #4. Split Pins: All three split pins are original and fully intact, retaining the majority of their factory-applied paint, with minor chipping consistent with age and service wear. INTERIOR Shell: The interior retains a good amount of its original factory-applied blue Luftwaffe finish. Liner: The original liner is intact and overall appears to be in good condition. It's dry as to be expected with normal wear and tear along the edges. The fingers are complete and the original drawstring is present. Chinstrap: Unfortunately the chinstrap is missing, but the bales are intact. CONDITION The helmet displays well and retains strong character with its original single decal and factory finish.
