This is an authentic matching German WWII 1-Liter Feldflasche (canteen) — the components come from the same manufacturer. Overall this set is in very good condition.
- Flask is marked RFI 41, which indicates that the item was produced in 1941 by the firm Rudolf Fissler KG, a company located in Idar-Oberstein.
- Canteen cap retains its original rubber gasket.
- Leather canteen strap remains pliable but is somewhat stiff and could benefit from conditioning. It is faintly marked RFI 41 on the underside.
- Wool cover is in very good condition, with some minor moth or hole damage. Snaps function properly. There is a RFI 41 ink stamp.
- Steel clip is present, but is very rusty and non-working.
- Plastic cup is included.
