This is an original pair of 6x30 binoculars manufactured by Carl Zeiss, a renowned optics maker. The binoculars retain most of their original black paint, with expected wear along the edges. The leather-textured exterior remains in very good condition, showing only minor cracking.
The plastic eye cups are in excellent condition with minimal wear. The optics remain clear and fully functional, with the right eyepiece includes a reticle (Strichplatte) with a 6400 scale, designed for precise distance calculations. There is evidence that someone attempted to scratch out the "Dienstglas" marking, but it remains visible.
Overall, this is a very nice and well-preserved pair of Carl Zeiss WWII binoculars, perfect for collectors.
