Original German WWII Tan 6x30 Binoculars (Dienstglas) “ddx” By Voigtlaender u. Sohn AG-
A well-preserved late-war 6x30 Dienstglas binocular, factory-painted in ordnance tan, manufactured by Voigtländer u. Sohn AG, Braunschweig. The binoculars retain the majority of their original finish, showing normal wear from light use and handling over the years.
They are marked with a triangle, a designation used between 1943-1945 (primarily in 1944), indicating suitability for extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 50°C. The optics remain clear; however, both eyepieces do not adjust, likely due to broken adjustment screws. The right eyepiece does not appear to have an integrated rangefinder.
The brown Bakelite eyecups are in excellent condition, free of cracks or damage. Overall, the binoculars are in excellent condition but would benefit from professional repair to restore full functionality.
