Original German WWII Panzerschreck Ammunition Crate (US Veteran Bring-Back)-
This authentic German WWII Panzerschreck ammunition crate has been repurposed by a US soldier as a shipping container to send items back home. The crate is painted in original factory ordnance tan and measures approximately 29" x 8" x 5".
Key features:
- Original rope carry handle, with all hinges and hardware intact.
- The factory wooden brackets inside the crate have been removed to accommodate its new use as a shipping crate.
- Original labels are partially present, though some are no longer legible due to age. One is dated 1944/45
- The soldier's name and address are handwritten in red on the top of the crate.
- While the crate shows some wear and tear consistent with age and use, it remains in solid, sturdy condition.
