Original German WWII Fire Police (Feuerschutzpolizei) Sleeve Eagle From Jülich - U.S. Veteran Bringback

This style of insignia was worn by members of the Feuerwehr (Fire Police) stationed in Jülich during pre-WWII.

This rare Feuerschutzpolizei sleeve eagle is constructed of bright pink machine embroidery, featuring a national eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, all enclosed within a large oval oak leaf wreath. The top of the wreath bears the town name “Jülich”. The insignia is sewn onto an oval-shaped dark blue wool backing.

This armband was reportedly discovered in a barn in the state of Pennsylvania and exhibits the honest wear and age commonly associated with poor storage conditions. Aside from all the flaws, this retains great historical character.
