This is an original German WWII helmet liner split pin, maker-marked “B&C 19??” for Brüder, Cronenberg late-war production. The pin comes with its correct metal washer. The maker stamp is faint and partially obscured by age and corrosion, so the marking and/or date cannot be confirmed with absolute certainty, though it appears consistent with B&C.
The pin shows honest wartime wear with visible oxidation, rust, and age toning. The washer also displays rust and discoloration consistent with long-term storage. Traces of post war paint remain on the pin head. Despite the corrosion, both components remain structurally sound, though we recommend careful handling due to their age.
A solid, maker-marked split pin—ideal for completing or restoring an M40 or M42 Luftwaffe helmet.
Please note: This listing is for one split pin with washer.
