Original Third Reich 2nd Model Kriegsmarine Officer's Dagger By WKC- A very nice dagger by WKC. It has the acid etched fouled anchor blade, but shows some very minor age. The blade is stamped "WKC" & maker marked. The tip comes to a nice point and the fit is nice and tight. The original red felt buffer pad is intact. The dent-free lightning bolt style scabbard is brass based, is dent free and has a nice patina. Both scabbard throat retaining screws remain intact and unturned. The button continues to work well and secures the scabbard to the hilt. The cross guard and pommel are brass based. The fouled anchors to the cross guard and proudly perched Kriegsmarine eagle pommel are nicely detailed. The grip is wood based and covered in white celluloid and is in excellent condition with no cracks. The brass double twisted wire wrap remains tightly intact! Overall, a very nice Kriegsmarine officer’s dagger in excellent condition.
