Original German WWII Walther “ac” Aluminum Flare Pistol (Leuchtpistole 34) Dated 1940
This is an original German WWII Walther-manufactured flare pistol, coded “ac” and dated 1940. These signal pistols were widely used by the Wehrmacht for battlefield communication and signaling.
Constructed with an aluminum frame and aluminum barrel, this early-war example shows honest service wear, including scattered scratches and age toning throughout. The frame is clearly marked with the “ac” manufacturer code, 1940 date, and serial number “1074.”
The checkered grip panels remain intact, showing typical wear but retaining good overall condition. The lanyard ring is present at the base of the grip.
Mechanically, the pistol retains its key components, with the hinge and locking system intact. The action opens as intended and presents as a solid, untouched example.
