Original German WWII Leather Combat Belt Loop Dated 1942
This is an original German WWII leather combat belt loop, dated 1942, manufactured from smooth blackened leather typical of wartime Wehrmacht field equipment. The belt loop is fitted with the correct steel rectangular loop, retaining remnants of its original field-gray painted finish, consistent with period manufacture.
The smooth leather shows honest service wear, including surface scuffing, edge wear, and age toning from use. The stitching remains intact and displays correct wartime construction and thread. The reverse is clearly marked and dated 1942, firmly placing this example in the mid-war production period.
