Original German WWII Early War M31 Matching Mess Kit Marked OLHM 39
A solid early-war example of the German M31 mess kit, this set is matching and marked “OLHM 39,” indicating 1939 production.
Constructed of aluminum, the mess kit shows honest field use with much of the original dark fieldgray paint worn away, exposing the bare metal beneath. The exterior displays scratches, paint loss, and areas of darkened patina consistent with wartime service.
The steel wire bail handle, shows age-related oxidation but remains fully intact and functional. The lid fits securely to the base.
The interior is clean aluminum with typical signs of use, including light wear and staining, but remains solid and free of major damage.
