Original German WWII Postal Cap Eagle
This item is an original German WWII Postal Cap Eagle, specifically identified as a 1936 Pattern visor cap eagle used by the Reichspost (German Postal Service), Reichsbahn (Railway), and Customs Service.
This unmarked eagle retains some of its original silver-toned finish with honest age, wear, and oxidation from service and storage.
The reverse shows the original prongs, both of which remain intact. The reverse exhibits surface oxidation consistent with age.
