Original German WWII Rubberized Gas Cape Bag (Gasplane Tasche) Marked
This authentic Gas Cape Bag was designed to carry a "Gas Cape" (Gasplane)—a protective fabric used by soldiers to shield themselves from chemical gas attacks during combat.
Constructed of gray-green rubberized material, the bag retains its characteristic supple yet slightly stiffened feel from age. The exterior shows honest period wear, including surface scuffing, creasing, and areas of light oxidation, all consistent with field use and long-term storage.
The flap is secured by 2 buttons, both buttons present and firmly attached. The interior reveals a clearly visible Waffenamt stamp. This marking is an important confirmation of authenticity.
The reverse side features 2 attached fabric loops for belt attachment.
