Original German WWII Russian POA Volunteer Sleeve Shield 2nd Pattern-
This authentic screen-printed sleeve shield represents the Russian Liberation Army (POA), also known as the Vlasov Army, which was officially established in 1944. Composed primarily of Soviet defectors and volunteers, the POA served under German command during the latter stages of World War II. While many members were assigned to support and auxiliary roles, some were eventually deployed in combat operations.
This 2nd Pattern POA insignia is in very good condition, exhibiting typical signs of age, including some fading and light staining throughout.
