Original German WWII Wartime Clothing Bag RB Numbered
This is an original German WWII clothing bag, a standard-issue item used by soldiers for carrying personal effects and spare clothing in the field. These bags are noted in the soldier’s Soldbuch as part of their issued equipment.
Constructed of olive drab canvas, the bag features a large main compartment with a fold-over flap secured by two leather straps and metal buckles. The original leather carry handle is present at the top, along with additional attachment points for wear or transport.
The canvas remains in good condition, showing honest wear, staining, and age from field use. The leather straps are intact and functional, displaying typical wear but still retaining good strength. Stitching throughout remains solid.
Under the leather handle, the bag is faintly marked with an RBNr (Reichsbetriebsnummer), indicating wartime production.
