Original German WWII k98 Bayonet Non-Matching With Pre/Early War Leather Frog-
This bayonet is in excellent overall condition, showcasing its original craftsmanship.
- Blade: Retains its original bluing with only light aging. Maker marked "43 fnj" by Alexander Coppel GmbH (aka Alcoso), of Solingen. Also has the serial number 5422 on the other side.
- Grips: Bakelite grips are intact, free of cracks or damage. Minor wear. Also has double Waffenamt (WaA) markings.
- Locking Button: Fully functional and operates smoothly.
- Scabbard: Unmarked and shows light aging, remaining in very good condition.
Included with the bayonet is a unmarked pre/early war leather frog featuring aluminum fittings. The leather remains in excellent condition and complements the bayonet well.
This set, consisting of the bayonet, scabbard, and frog, is a prime example of a collectible WWII German K98 bayonet ensemble in excellent condition.
