Original German WWII k98 Cleaning Kit Marked "cnx" – Complete Set
A cleaning kit is a standard piece of equipment for German soldiers. The k98 cleaning kit is designated as a "Reinigungsgerat 34 (RG34)". These small steel cans were introduced in 1934 and contained a chain pull-through, two bore brushes, an oiler, and a cleaning tool for the receiver.
This is a nice original complete K98 cleaning kit, maker marked "cnx" indicating it was produced by Gustav Appel. The metal container retains a nice patina and shows typical wear and tear.
