Description

Original German WWII M35 Heer Reissued Single Decal Helmet ET66- This Heer M35 reissued helmet is skillfully hand brushed or spray gun painted with a dark field-gray textured finish both inside and out. The Heer eagle decal has been reapplied, though approximately 75% of it remains, showcasing its wartime journey. Notably, the Tri-color decal, whether removed or covered up during the reissue process, is concealed beneath the textured paint.
Evidencing significant combat use, the helmet displays areas where the paint has chipped off, revealing rust spots—a testament to its service on the front lines. The combat-worn appearance adds a layer of authenticity to its history. The zinc outer band liner suggests a factory-level refurbishment, where the original liner was likely replaced with a new one. The liner, sized 59, bears the signs of age, attesting to its period of use.
Regrettably, it does not come with a chinstrap, but overall, it stands as a remarkable representation of a combat-used Heer M35 reissued helmet. Its condition ranges from very good to excellent, providing collectors and enthusiasts with a tangible connection to the wartime experiences encapsulated in this piece of military history.
