Original German WWII Large Double Sided Banner/Flag (400cm x 140cm)
Offered is an original German WWII double-sided national flag/banner, constructed of red cotton with separately applied white roundels to each side, each featuring a black screen printed swastika. The construction and materials are consistent with period manufacture. The flag retains a vibrant red field, showing some various stains, honest signs of age and handling. The white roundels exhibit mild age toning, while both black swastikas retain even coloration. The overall stitching is intact throughout. One end features a sewn tunnel sleeve for mounting on a pole or staff, as commonly encountered on display or parade banners. No rope is present.
Measures approximately 157" x 55" (400cm x 140cm). The white roundel measures approximately 34" diameter (86cm).
Overall, a very good example, displaying cleanly and ideal for display or collection in excellent condition.
