Original Third Reich Era Toy SA Man With Standarte Metal Figure
This is an original German pre-WWII or early-WWII era metal toy figure depicting an SA (Sturmabteilung) standard bearer holding a Standarte-style flag. Likely produced by one of the German makers such as Lineol or Elastolin during the 1930s, this figure is made of cast metal and hand-painted in period colors.
The paint shows honest age wear, flaking, and surface chipping throughout, particularly on the uniform and banner, but retains much of its original detail. The Flag pole top of an eagle holding a wreath with swastika is broken off. Also partial box of the NSDAP is also broken off. The figure stands approximately 3.5 inches (9 cm) tall.
Comparable examples in excellent condition typically sell for over $300, but this one is offered at lower price due to the visible paint wear and age-related damage. A scarce and historically interesting example of Third Reich toy production. Overall in good condition.
