Description

Original Third Reich Early M1933 Full Ground Rohm SA Dagger By E.P.& S Solingen- This genuine M1933 SA Dagger from the early years of the Third Reich exhibits its historical significance through its distinctive features. The blade bears the marks of time, showcasing the acid-etched motto "Alles für Deutschland" (Everything for Germany), reflecting the fervent spirit of the era. On the reverse side of the blade, the once-prominent Ernst Rohm name and emblem have undergone partial removal, leaving traces of their existence. The meticulously crafted E.P.& S Solingen maker's mark remains largely intact, albeit with a slight diminishment in the "&" symbol.
The wooden handle retains its vibrant hue and boasts an impeccable condition, devoid of any cracks or blemishes. The solid nickel eagle emblem that adorns the handle stands as a testament to the craftsmanship of the period, capturing intricate details with precision. Similarly, the SA roundel seamlessly integrates into the design, offering a flawless fit within the ensemble.
A historical detail of note is the Gau stamping "Ns" on the lower cross guard, denoting Niedersachsen's regional affiliation. This subtle yet significant marking contributes to the dagger's provenance.
The anodized scabbard, though exhibiting some signs of wear along its edges, adds to the authenticity of the piece. It remains a visual representation of the passage of time, carrying with it the echoes of the past. The presence of three screws securing the scabbard is notable, even though one of them is regrettably absent.
This M1933 SA Dagger comes complete with a brown hanger, purpose-built to accommodate its historical significance. The hanger bears the RZM mark, further establishing its connection to the Third Reich era.
Overall, this artifact is in very good condition, capturing the essence of its time with its unique markings, meticulous craftsmanship, and historical significance. It stands as a tangible link to the past, offering insights into the complex history of the early Third Reich period.
