This authentic M3 leather shoulder holster was manufactured by Enger-Kress in 1944 and is designed for the Colt 1911 .45 caliber pistol. The front is embossed with "U.S.," while the reverse "U.S. ENGER-KRESS 1944," confirming its authenticity.
Crafted from high-quality leather, both the holster and shoulder strap remain supple and well-formed, retaining their original shape with minimal wear with natural scuffing. The stitching is intact, and the leather shows only light age-appropriate signs of use. There is minor corrosion present on some of the metal fittings, consistent with its age and use. Overall, this holster is in excellent condition.
