Original US WWII Army Air Corps 4 Pocket Tunic Size 37L, Service Shirt & Garrison Caps Set-
This set features a high-quality WWII Army Air Corps 4-pocket tunic, summer service shirt, and two summer garrison caps.
Tunic:
Size: 37L. Pit to measures approximately 19" across.
Date: 1942
Above right breast pocket: "Ruptured Duck" Honorable Discharge patch
Left sleeve: Army Air Force patch
Right sleeve: Army Air Force Aviation patch
Condition: Excellent overall, with a couple of tiny moth holes. All original buttons remain intact.
Service Shirt:
Size: Pit to pit measures approximately 22" across.
No tag
Condition: Good overall, with a couple of stains. All buttons intact - right sleeve button is non-matching.
Overseas Garrison Caps (2):
The cap on the top is one that was issued directly to the soldier. It has blue and orange piping which signifies Air Corp. There is no tag. Due to poor storage there is some sort of grime on the inner sweatband and very wrinkled overall. The hat has stains and discoloration on the outside. The hat is slightly smaller than the other hat.
The cap on the bottom is known as a PX (Post Exchange) type Garrison Cap. It has blue and orange piping which signifies Air Corp. The tag inside states it is a size 7 1/8. Due to poor storage the hat is very wrinkled. Aside from that its in very good condition.
All items in this set are authentic, well-preserved, and display only minor wear. Perfect for collectors or historians interested in WWII-era Army Air Corps memorabilia.
