Original US WWI M1917 Doughboy Helmet With Liner & Damaged Chinstrap Marked ZD 37- This helmet retains its original factory paint and patina with textured finish on the outside. The helmet includes both its liner and and a major portion of the chinstrap the leather chinstrap is complete, but it has broken. The liner, well-preserved, still retains the instruction tag at the top of the inside dome. The chinstrap, though complete, shows signs of age and dryness, and could use a bit of conditioner. The rear of the helmet it is marked "ZD" for the code of the manufacturer and there is a batch code 37? Considering its age, this WWI M1917 Doughboy Helmet remains in very good to excellent condition.
