Original Pre-WWII HJ 3-Piece Armband - U.S. Veteran BringbackBetween 1936 and 1945, the National Socialist Party sought to extend its influence across all facets of German society. The H- Youth (H-Jugend) was established as the Party’s official youth organization, indoctrinating boys aged 14–18 with National Socialist ideology and preparing them for future roles within the regime.
Offered here is an authentic pre-WWII HJ armband featuring classic three-piece construction. The white ribbed diamond is separately applied to the red cotton body, with the black ribbed swas. individually sewn onto the center diamond. The reverse retains its original vertical seam construction, consistent with period manufacture. This example does not retain an RZM tag, which is not uncommon for worn or field-used examples.
This armband was reportedly discovered in a barn in the state of Pennsylvania and exhibits the honest wear and age commonly associated with poor storage conditions. The fabric retains strong, vibrant coloration overall, while showing scattered staining, fraying, small holes, and storage wear throughout. Despite the evident wear, the piece remains structurally sound and displays typical barn find character.
