Original German Pre-WWII NS Flugtag 1932 Braunschweig Commemorative PlaqueThis is an original German pre-WWII NS Flugtag (National Socialist Aviation Day) 1932 Braunschweig commemorative plaque.
The bronze medallion features a stylized eagle in flight above a city skyline, with a prominent swas. positioned at the lower right. The medallion is secured by nails to a very nice wooden base. The bronze medallion does not lay perfectly flat, there is a small gap that can be seen in Photo 3.
Measures approximately 7.6cm x 12.7cm (3"H x 5"W).
Overall remains in very good condition. The medallion has a nice patina and the base hardly shows any aging. We believe this plaque to be completely period original.
