Rare Original Third Reich Hitler Jugend/BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel) Pocketbook with Shoulder Strap- This is a rare item from the German League of Girls (Bund Deutscher Mädel). Many of these were used by women after the war and likely discarded making it a rare item. This pocketbook shows some stains inside and out, and the edges are reinforced with leather similar to a boys' HJ breadbag. The two buttons used to close the main flap do not match. Inside, there is an off-white cotton divider and a faint marking on the inside flap. It comes with an original shoulder strap, which is often missing. Overall, this is a rare and fully intact girls' Hitler Jugend/BDM pocketbook in very good to excellent condition.
