This is a European made k98 rifle bolt and receiver dust cover that is made to be just like the original. Luftwaffe blue canvas construction k98 receiver cover with leather and steel fittings and has felt at one end to protect the wood. Most often this cover was used in vehicles and on motorcycles riders to protect the k98 rifle receiver mechanisms including the bolt, the trigger and trigger guard and the rear sight from becoming jammed with dirt and sand when the weapons were being used in transit.
