This original German WWII two-man Zeltbahn is in unissued condition, having never been used. It comes complete with its original carry bag and retains all its original components.
The Zeltbahn measures approximately 1 meter tall and 92 centimeters wide. Its interior features two pockets on each side, designed for storing personal items. The bottom of the Zeltbahn is reinforced with a dark gray rubberized coating that extends up the two sides and rear of the tent, providing excellent protection against water intrusion. A rubberized framed window with a screen and a flap is included. The flap can be secured with two snaps or rolled up and fastened with a strap and snap.
One of the rubberized grommet tabs bears an RB Number ink stamp: 59/282/1002. The carry bag accompanying the Zeltbahn has buckles marked with RZM M5/111. Inside the carry bag is a pocket for holding the wooden poles.
The Zeltbahn comes with its original, unissued accessories, including wooden pegs, rope, and bone toggles, all still wrapped in their factory paper (not shown in photos) and neatly rolled up inside the tent. Both the tent and carry bag display Russian capture markings.
This Zeltbahn has only been removed from its bag for setup during a photo session. It remains in pristine, like-new condition, as if it were manufactured yesterday.
