Original German WWII Luftwaffe Two Piece White/Gray Leather Winter Fleece Lined Flight Jacket And Trousers- Two piece white and gray leather Luftwaffe winter flight suit, includes fleece lined flight jacket and trousers evenly worn from service use. The jacket is lined in white fleece and has a dark brown colored fleece lined collar, it has a zippered front with a RAPID marked pull and white leather tab, but the zipper will not zip. The jacket was left open and the teeth of the zipper have closed a little bit. The zipper teeth need to be widened to most likely work again. There are two slashed waist pockets with PRYM snaps, each sleeve end has an internal wind cuff of blue ribbed cotton with two PRYM snaps, the sleeves have zippered openings with ZIPP marked pulls and white leather tabs. The blue ribbed cotton waistband has two internal Luftwaffe style sliding buckles with tightening straps, there are two PRYM 6 snaps at the front waistband, there is a manufacturers label sewn on the waist band. There are some tears and repairs on the back and sleeves of the jacket and this is very common. The trousers have dark brown colored fleece lining, the waistband is made of blue grey colored ribbed cotton and is fastened with two black buttons. The zipper heads are marked PRYM, ZIPP and RAPID, each pull has a leather tab, there are friction buckles and blue colored ribbed cotton straps at the outer waist, additionally, the support straps at the rear outer waist have black buttons. Each thigh has a large flapped pocket made of white cotton, these have internal dividers and compartments for flares, etc., the snaps are marked PRYM 6 and all are functional, each outer leg has zippers for reaching the undergarments as well as pockets and fittings for flight-related equipment. The jacket and trousers are dirty from use, but a nice hard to find complete set. Very good condition.
